FORMER president Dr Goodluck Jonathan has asked the Abuja Federal High Court to set aside the subpoena ordering him to appear in person as a witness for ex-Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) publicity secretary Chief Olisa Metuh and if not he be paid a sum of N1m ($2,761) as travel costs.

AN irate mob beat up a 22-year suspected thief named Jeffry Ibori nearly killing him in Warri the commercial hub of Delta State after he burgled a shop along the Cinema Site link road in Okumagba Layout.
Apparently, the suspected thief was caught by one of the traders who had been monitoring him following missing items in his shop and that of his neighbours. After spotting Mr Ibori, the trader raised the alarm, which attracted his neighbours and other passers-bys.
