Fani-Kayode becomes the father of a set of triplets bringing his total child count to nine

FORMER aviation minister and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has become the father of three baby boys after his wife Precious gave birth to a set of triplets this morning.

 

Now in his fourth marriage, Chief Fani-Kayode, 57, the son of Chief Remi Fani-Kayode, the former deputy premier of the old Western Region, has been previously married three times and is already the father of five daughters and one son. His first marriage was to Saratu Atta in 1987, from who he got divorced in 1990 after having a daughter together named  Oluwafolake.

 

His second marriage was to Yemisi Adeniji in 1991 and they were divorced by 1995 after  three daughters named Oluwatemitope, Oluwatobiloba and Oluwatuminu. Chief Fani-Kayode's third marriage was to Regina-Hanson Amonoo, who he tied the knot with in 1997 and bore a daughter with whose name is Oluwaremilekun.

 

Currently, Chief Fani Kayode is married to Precious Chikwendu Fani-Kayode, who on  February 1 2016 delivered a baby-boy christened Joshua Oluwafemi Emmanuel Lotanna Aragorn Fani-Kayode, the former minister's first son. Precious has now added three more sons to the family who have been named Ragnar, Aiden and Liam.

 

Chief Fani Kayode took to Twitter to announce: "I give thanks to God for the birth of my three beautiful sons Ragnar, Aiden and Liam this morning. They are so beautiful and Precious and the three boys are doing very well.

 

"Today is her birthday too, so what a wonderful birthday gift that the Lord has given to us. To God be the glory."

 

A key member of the opposition PDP and a vocal; critic of the government of President Muhammadu Buhari, Chief Fani-Kayode is expected to play a key role during next year's presidential elections. He has frequently accused the ruling All Progressives Congress of trying to Islamise Nigeria and of promoting northern domination across the country.
