NIGERIA'S Independent National Electoral Commission (Inec) has declared the Osun State governorship elections inconclusive after tight race which ended with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leading the All Progressives Congress (APC) with just 353 votes.

NIGERIA'S former and only ever Miss World Agbani Darego married to ex-defence minister Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma's son Ishaya has given birth to her first child at a London hospital.
Yesterday, Agbani, 35 and Ishaya Danjuma revealed that they had given birth to their first child. Agbani, who has since gone into modelling after ending her reign as Miss World in 2002, married retired General Danjuma’s son Ishaya, in 2017 at a private wedding ceremony in Marakesh, Morocco.

ANAMBRA education student Philip Chinedu has committed suicide in his hostel room after it became apparent that he would have to drop out of school due to his inability to pay his impending tuition fees.
Mr Chinedu, 29, was a 200 level student at the Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe, in Anambra East Local Government Area. He was found dead on Thursday at about 8.40pm in his apartment just outside the school campus.
