PRESIDENCY officials have asked the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) to publish the names of all Fulani herdsmen currently undergoing trials across the country as the pressure mounts on the government to act on the deteriorating security situation.

NIGERIA'S ongoing Fulani herdsmen problem has spread to Akwa Ibom State after pastoralists invaded a farm near Uyo belonging to an aide of Governor Udom Emmanuel and destroyed at least 400 plantain stands.

AREWA body the Northern Youths Council of Nigeria (NYCN) has warned northerners not to travel to the south of the country at the moment as the ongoing clashes between farmers and Fulani cattle herdsmen puts them at risk.
