ABUJA resident Emmanuel Chukwu has been sentenced to four months imprisonment by a Karmo Grade Ine Area Court in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for stealing a 10-inch mattress from one of his neighbours.
Earlier today, Mr Chukwu 23, was sentenced by the judge Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq, who however, gave him an option to pay a N10,000 fine. According to the judge, the punishment and sentence would serve as deterrent to others who might want to steal.
