Government forces kill seven ESN fighters as they raid their camp in Rivers State

SOLDIERS from the Sixth Mechanised Division of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies have reportedly killed seven Eastern Security Network (ESN) fighters during a gun battle in Agbochia Forest in Rivers State.

EFCC boss says estimated value of jewellery seized from Diezani totals about $35m

ECONOMIC and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa has revealed that the total amount of the jewellery seized from former petroleum minister Diezani Alison-Madueke totals about N14.46bn ($35m).

Nigeria's total debt portfolio rose to $50bn by the end of 2020 as a result of government borrowing

[1] Gas flaring will end immediately. A gas network will be constructed to pipe it to every home in the country

[2] Farmers will be discouraged  from using chemicals, pesticides and other additives. They will also be encouraged to dedicate part of their farms to organic agriculture

[3] Companies and individuals who install solar panels on their premises will be given tax breaks equivalent to the value of the energy they produce
