LAWMAKERS in Nigeria's House of Representatives have begun deliberating a bill that will empower the National Assembly to summon the president and state governors to answer questions about prevailing developments in the country.

Ibadan magistrates courts remands Fulani herdsman leader Abdullahi Wakili in custody

FULANI herdsmen leader Alhaji Abdullahi Wakili has been remanded in custody by the Iyaganku Chief Magistrates Court in Ibadan after his case was heard today in which he was charged with six counts of violence including murder and kidnapping.
