FULANI socio-cultural association Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore has called on Nigeria's  National Assembly to intervene and stop attempts by some states governors to enact anti-open grazing laws targeted at nomadic pastoralists.

Sowore's younger brother Olajide Sowore shot dead by unknown gunmen in Edo State

SAHARA Reporters' publisher and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore has lost his younger brother Olajide after he was shot dead yesterday by unknown gunmen near Okada in Edo State.

 

Olajide, who is studying pharmacy at Igbinedion University in Edo State, was shot in the early hours of  this morning by killers thought to be Fulani herdsmen. Omoyele Sowore has confirmed the incident, described his deceased brother who almost clocked 50 as an out-of-the-box thinker.

[1] Do you know that 100,000 Taliban fighters defeated 300,000 US-trained Afghan troops? 

[2] While the ragtag Taliban army were on horseback and using pick-up trucks, the Afghan Army had tanks, armoured personnel carriers, drone support and all other modern military gadgets 

[3] The Taliban were using Pakistani-made AK-47s, which are highly inaccurate, while the Afghan Army were using slick US-made M16 assault rifles
