[1] We do not need loans or grants but proper foreign direct investment (FDI) to build up our industrial capacity. Consequently, all recent coronavirus-related loans must be written off

[2] Nigeria needs at least $100bn of FDI annually. International development agencies must agree to press industrialised countries to offer tax rebates to their private companies that invest in Nigeria

[3] We need a commitment from global energy companies to invest in our electricity sector and boost output to at least 50,000MW by 2025

[4] Nigeria needs steel to get off her knees so we need a commitment from the industrialised world to boost production to at least 20m tonnes by 2025. Ajaokuta and Aladja must be the starting for the most ambitious steel production programme ever witnessed in the history of mankind

[5] The industrialised world must commit to adding at least 50% value locally to every raw material purchased from Nigeria. This will include crude oil, agricultural produce, solid minerals, etc

[6] At least six global automobile companies must commit to opening either assembly plants or manufacturing facilities in Nigeria. Not one of the big three US car companies has a facility in Nigeria and they claim to be our friends and trading partners?

[7] The Hague must agree to take over the prosecution of corrupt Nigerian politicians. We want them to make corruption a crime against humanity and jail anyone found guilty for life. Nigeria needs to focus on development so they can take that burden off our hands

[8] Nigeria must be given the intelligence to wipe of Boko Haram once and for all. Satellite imagery exists to locate all their hideouts in Borno State

[9] Western retail chains must agree to stack all Nigerian food items. Wherever there are health or quality concerns, they must offer training, equipment and provide logistical support for improvements

[10] Every industrialised nation must offer landing rights to a Nigerian national carrier as part of a plan to open up our economy to investment
