Leeds United look to sign Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis at the end of the season

SUPER Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis could leave English Premier League side Watford at the end of the season and join Leeds United as your Yorkshire giants are looking to strengthen their squad ahead of the next campaign.

This season, Leeds have had a torrid time due to a large number of injuries and lacking a large squad, the side has not been able to plug the gaps. With plans to build on their position in the Premier League and start competing for a place in Europe, Leeds are now looking at bringing in several quality players.

Leeds transfer insider Dean Jones claims that the Whites would love to have Dennis aboard next season, to compliments the efforts of Raphinha upfront. This season, Raphinha is the only Leeds player to have got into double figures in front of goal, mainly due to injuries to Patrick Bamford.

Mr  Jones believes Emmanuel Dennis is one player Leeds could make a move for to boost their output in the future. Dennis, who only joined Watford in the summer, has enjoyed a decent start in England, netting 10 goals and adding another five assists for relegation-threatened Watford.

He can play anywhere in attack and is fast, tricky and was recently crowned the nutmeg king in the Premier League. Dennis cost Watford only €4m when he transferred from Club Brugge in Belgium but he is already valued at twice that amount following his brilliant showings.
