APC thugs believed to have stolen journalists car outside party secretariat in Kaduna

NEW Nigerian Newspaper journalist Amos Mathew has had his car miraculously stolen outside the secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna in a act believed to have been carried out by party political thugs.

 

Mr Matthew, the political editor of the  paper drove to the secretariat in the black Volkswagen Golf  where journalists were invited to cover the declaration of an APC gubernatorial aspirant. It is believe that the party thugs who were outside the building while the meeting took place may have stolen the car.

 

In response, to the theft, journalists in Kaduna State have threatened to boycott future political activities should the relevant authorities fail to recover the vehicle. According to Mr Mathew, the vehicle was parked in front of the party secretariat at exactly 10 am and was discovered to have been stolen at the end of political events by unidentified at 11.20an.

 

Mr Mathew explained that the police and other relevant authorities have been briefed on the situation. He added that other valuable items like ATM card, office identity card, voter card, National Identity Card among other items were in the stolen vehicle.
