As we debate the vexed matter of Nigeria producing a president of Igbo extraction in 2023, can we also pay some attention to the issue of southeast economic policies

[1] Getting Innoson to purchase the rights of The Beetle from Volkswagen so it can manufacture electric cars in Nnewi 

[2] Establishing a massive cattle ranch in Abia State to supply the leather for a shoemaking conglomerate in Aba 

[3] Getting a pharmaceutical giant like Pfizer to open a plant in Owerri or Orlu. It should start off producing a Covid-19 vaccine there 

[4] Expanding on Rochas Okorocha’s statue parks across Imo State, making them a major tourist attraction 

[5] Converting the old Enugu Coal Mine into a conference centre, tourist attraction, restaurant hotel, theme park and underground swimming pool 

[6]Building a dramatic and unprecedented Third Niger Bridge from Illah to Nzam. How about making it a railway bridge with an underground tunnel and then to blow everyone’s heads away, add an overhead aquarium to the project?

[7] Dredging Onitsha and converting it into a massive inland port 

[8] Industrialising the  Uburu salt lakes of Ebonyi State 

[9] Manufacturing bomb and bullet-proof vehicles at the Ohafia military facility and exporting them all over Africa 

[10] Turning the Umuahia War Museum into a Unesco international tourist attraction like the Nazi Concentration  Camps
