It may take the discovery of a new species like this for the rest of the world to start taking Nigeria seriously and invest in her

[1] I maintain that the human race has an obligation to ensure that the world’s largest black nation is prosperous, peaceful and at ease with itself

[2] Apart from being the pride of the negro and the African giant, Nigeria is also situated in the middle of our planet. She is not just some other nation. Nigeria was destined to be a super power from the word go

[3] Given the role Europe has played in our history, they owe us big time. I say it is payback time!

[4] Anyone who has read Walter Rodney’s How Europe Under-Developed Africa will appreciate the fact that we have a genuine claim for compensation. From the Slave Trade, to colonialism, to making us one of the most complex nations on earth, Europe has moulded modern Nigeria considerably

[5] We are the third most complex nation on earth with 350 ethnic groups and 650 dialects. If the rest of the world does not want us to implode with the subsequent dire circumstances, they need to start pouring billions of investment into Nigeria

[6] Maybe if we discovered this new primate specie Gigantopithecus blackii, it would kick-start things. This ape, closely related to the Ourang Ourang and Bigfoot once roamed the planet. Climate change made them extinct

[7] Just imagine the buzz and excitement we would generate if we discovered this specie in Nigeria. I say we should go searching. The place to look is that Cameroon border where we once found the Koma people

[8] If the whole world had to come to Nigeria to see this species, it would certainly force the investment of billions of dollars in transport, research, hospitality, housing, security, etc facilities and other logistics

[9] Come to think of it, should we create a species in a laboratory if that is what it will take to put Nigeria on the world map?

[10] However we must be careful as new species may not have been exposed to our ailments, viruses, bacteria, etc, so over-exposure could endanger them. We will need a whole new health ministry to deal with this matter
