Jollof rice just proves the point that Nigeria has no choice but to establish herself as the global champion of all negroid people

Ayo Akinfe

[1] Do you know that jollof rice originated in Senegal? It is the traditional delicacy of the Wollof people but alas, today, Nigeria has cornered it and made it her own

[2] If Nigeria was a functioning economy, by now one mega conglomerate like maybe Dangote Industries would have patented jollof rice and cornered the global market

[3] Western multinationals have used this trick repeatedly. It dates back to the slavery era when a slave master would get his slaves to invent a product, he would then patent it and enjoy a global monopoly

[4] Only a Nigerian company will ever have the clout to patent a West African food product globally. Everyone would just ignore a patent from say Senegal, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Togo, Guinea, Liberia, etc

[5] You just need to see the contempt with which the global diamond industry treats Sierra Leone and Liberia to get my point. Ask yourselves if they would dare try that in Nigeria

[6] If Benin Republic or Ghana were to patent a product and Chinese firms breach it, what can they do? Absolutely nothing! In Nigeria, we have a market if 200m which we can use to blackmail them into submission

[7] I am gobsmacked that we have not had a Nigerian Food Company emerge to patent special varieties of say jollof rice, suya, fried rice, asaro, isi ewu, pepper soup, asun, etc

[8] There is no other country on planet Earth which such a company can emerge to patent West African food other then Nigeria. We are the only hope of the negro

[9] Just as Russia have served as the godfather of all Slav people worldwide, so too is Nigeria the only hope of the black man. Those calling for the balkanisation of Nigerian are worse enemies than the Klu Klux Klan. Dismantling our saviour and creating small weak states that can easily be dominated by the West and Asians will be the biggest act of genocidal suicide in the history of mankind

[10] I look forward to the day the likes of Allen Onyeama, Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija, Mike Adenuga, Femi Otedola, etc will join forces with our millionaire pastorprueners like Oyedepo, Adeboye, Okotie, Ashimolowo, Oritsejsfor, Suleiman, etc to create a conglomerate that can compete with the likes of Heinz, Kellogg, Unilever, Mars, Nestle, Kraft, etc on the global stage
