Arsenal signs nine year old Nigerian wonderkid Sada in desperate bid to reverse its ailing fortunes

ENGLISH Premier League giants Arsenal have signed nine year old Nigerian wonderkid Munnir Muhammed Sada in a desperate bid to combat its current dearth of talent that has seen the club's slump so badly that it is now last in the table.

Once admired worldwide as a European powerhouse that played free-flowing football and featured some of the most creative players in England, Arsenal has always had a huge following in Nigeria. Of late, however, the club has become a shadow of its former self as it struggles to sitting passes together and is currently sitting rock bottom of the English Premier League with no points from three games.

In a desperate bid to reverse its fortunes, the club has decided to look for highly talented youth globally and has come up Munnir from Zaria in Kaduna State. After signing a contract this morning, Munnir, whose father is from Kaduna State and his mother from Katsina State,  will now train with the Arsenal feeder team.

Abdallah Yunus, a spokesman for the Kaduna State government, said: Munnir an indigene of Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State is expected to be playing for the youth soccer team of Arsenal FC.  Munnir Muhammad Sada joined the Arsenal kid’s academy as he signed the contract in the presence of his parents and manager in England."
