I am one person who finds it totally unacceptable that the world’s largest black nation is not on this list

[10] Come Qatar 2022, it is time for another Battle of Adowa. Do you know that at after that 1896 victory, the European media went around saying the Ethiopians were white to avoid the ignominy of having to live with being crushed by “common black Africans.”
Now the Battle of Benin took place just a year after the Battle of Adowa but in our case, we were totally crushed because we were ignorant. Emperor Menelik went and bought modern firearms from the Czar of Russia, while Oba Overanmi’s army was fighting with machetes.

To make matters worse, Emperor Menelik successfully rallied all the other local monarchs behind him, while Oba Overanmi was alone. It is time to correct the anomaly of 1897 with a crushing success in the Battle of Qatar 2022.
We cannot be the world’s largest black nation only in name. Can you see why I hate those advocating balkanisation with every muscle in my body? 

This week alone, Djibouti got beaten 8-0 by Algeria, Germany thrashed Armenia 6-0 and Poland crushed San Marino 7-1. Small nations are just canon fodder for the big boys.

Great that you have secured two wins this last week Super Eagles but it is nowhere even remotely close to uhuru! We need that trophy as a status symbol!
