Synagogue Church of All Nations says Prophet TB Joshua prophesised his own death

LEADERS of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (Scoan) have claimed that their founder Prophet Temitope Balogun predicted his own death in a recent sermon claiming he quoted the bible to prophesy that it would happen.

Popularly known as TB Joshua, the fiery clergyman passed away yesterday, just six days to his 58th birthday. According to his church, Prophet Joshua had earlier in the day participated in a church programme during which he predicted his death, quoting a passages from the bible of Amos.

This morning, a statement released by Scoan began with a citation from Amos 3:7, which reads: “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets. On Saturday 5th June 2021, Prophet TB Joshua spoke during the Emmanuel TV Partners Meeting Time for everything – time to come here for prayer and time to return home after the service.”

“God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home, as it should be by divine will. As Prophet TB Joshua says, the greatest way to use life is to spend it on something that will outlive it."

During his lifetime, Pastor Joshua earned a reputation for always predicting events in Nigeria and abroad. Last week, the cleric had even called for Nigerians to fast and pray on June 12, his birthday and had predicted that Nigeria will not break despite calls for secession and agitations demanding the balkanisation of the country.

Scoan's statement added: "God has taken His servant Prophet TB Joshua home as it should be by divine will. His last moments on earth were spent in the service of God. This is what he was born for, lived for and died for.

"Prophet TB Joshua leaves a legacy of service and sacrifice to God’s kingdom that is living for generations yet unborn. Here are Prophet TB Joshua’s last words - Watch and pray. One life for Christ is all we have, one life for Christ is so dear.”
