Is there any reason why Nigeria should not aim to be the world’s number one manufacturer of all these products by 2030? We are fortunate to have the excess manpower which very few other nations have.

To get out of our current rut, the only option we have is to manufacture our way out of our poverty. All these bandits, herdsmen, almajiris and insurgents need to be in factories manufacturing goods.

Do you think anyone who has just finished a 12 shift in an industrial plant will have the time for religious extremism or think about ethnic domination of other Nigerians. As the saying goes: “The idle mind is the devil’s workshop.”

An industrial plan will end all this violence and ethnic agitation within a year. Whoever becomes Nigeria’s president in 2023 really has their work cut out!
