A political arrangement that could end all the ethnic tension in Nigeria

[1] Presidents only allowed to serve a single five year tenure 

[2] The presidency rotated among the six geo-political zones alternating between the north and the south on an alphabetical basis - North Central, South East, North East, South South, North West and South West

[3] Nigeria will have six vice presidents, with one from each geo-political zone 

[4] In the event of a president’s death, the vice president from his zone will complete his tenure 

[5] During a president’s tenure, the vice president whose zone is due to take over next will be considered the country’s number two citizen 

[6] Presidential authority will be limited to 10 items on the exclusive list - Defence, aviation, railways, foreign affairs, sports, education, specialist healthcare, central police force, ports and the Rivers Niger/Benue

[7] Under no circumstances will more than 20% of the revenue generated in Nigeria be remitted into the federation account 

[8] Each of the six vice presidents will be a coordinating minister for key sectors of the country - Security, Economy, Infrastructure, Education, Aviation/shipping/transport and Agriculture/food 

[9] The president and the six vice presidents will form what is known as the coordinating cabinet. This cabinet of seven must approve all appointments by two thirds for them to be constitutional 

[10] In the event of a governor not being able to generate enough revenue to run his state over three successive quarters, the National Assembly will declare a state of emergency there with the vice president from the two-political zone despatched to take over from him
