Nigerian Self-Reliance Bill 2021

Ayo Akinfe

(1) All churches and mosques must manufacture the megaphones, microphones and loudspeakers which they use to terrorise their neighbourhoods

(2) Every state must generate at least its running costs. If it fails to do this over two successive quarters, a state of emergency will be declared and the state will be run by the National Assembly

(3) Every local government area must generate the cost of running its primary schools and refuse disposal. Failure to do this over a 12 month period will result in such a local government area being scrapped

(7) Religious pilgrimage sites will be built at the tombs of Usman Dan Fodio and Samuel Ajayi Crowther. Before any Nigerian goes on a pilgrimage to Mecca, Medina, Jerusalem or Rome, they must have visited our local sites at least twice. Upon doing so, they will receive a clearance certificate enabling them to embark on a foreign pilgrimage

(8) Helicopter and private jet imports will be banned unless the manufacture opens a maintenance and repair factory in Nigeria that also serves as an assembly plant
