National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes organises Abuja rally in support of Atiku

MEMBERS of the National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (NANP) have held a rally in Abuja in support of the candidacy of former vice president Alhaji Atiku Abubakar promising to moblise massive support for him in the forthcoming elections.

On February 16, Nigeria goes to the polls with Alhaji Abubakar standing as the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) against incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC). With the election considered a tight race, about 10,000 NANP members  stormed Abuja today vowing to back the PDP in the presidential and parliamentary elections.

Sandra Efosa, the NANP general secretary said they settled for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar after studying his policy documents carefully for several weeks. She said under the current government, their bed-to-wealth has suffered low patronage due to harsh economy.

Ms Efosa said: “We shall be mobilising our members across the country to work for the election of the PDP candidate. I shall let you know of our next step.”

She added that as was the case in 2015, her members would be offering free sex to members of the public if their candidate won the election. According to Ms Efosa, that is their tradition and later on in the week, the association will issue a comprehensive statement on why they settled for Atiku having endorsed Bukola Saraki earlier on in the contest when he was seeking the APC presidential ticket.
