Chelsea all set to send Ola Aina out on loan to Torino in exchange for striker Andrea Belloti

ENGLISH Premier league giants Chelsea look set to offer Super Eagles fullback Ola Aina to Italian club Torino on a season-long loan as part of a wider package that will allow the west London side to purchase striker Andrea Belloti from Turin.

Chelsea are keen to sign Italian striker Belloti from Torino ahead of the start of the new campaign and are hoping that offering Aina as part of the package will seal a deal. Several English sides are keen on taking Aina on loan but the defender himself is keen to test himself abroad and widen his horizon.

Dutch giants PSV were the initial front runners to sign Aina who spent last season on loan at Hull City but Chelsea’s quest to sign a forward before the close of the transfer window , make Torino his most likely destination. Reports from Italy indicate that Torino are keen on Aina too, so it is likely the two sides will sort out a deal this week.

Aina, 21, is a versatile overlapping fullback who although right-footed is also adept at playing on the left. At the last minute, he was dropped from Nigeria's World Cup squad but is seen as someone who is very much part of the future and an integral part of Coach Gernot Rohr's plans.

Last week, Derby County's manager Frank Lampard said he was looking to sign Aina on a season-long loan. Aina, a former England Under 20 player, pledged his international future to Nigeria in May 2017 and was subsequently called up to the national team same month.

Meanwhile, Isaac Success is close to agreeing a loan move from Watford to English Championship side Aston Villa. Success has failed to nail down a regular spot in the Watford team since his big money move from La Liga side Granada as he has struggled with form and fitness ‎due to issues ranging from injuries to a poor personal lifestyle.

Success spent the second half of last season on loan to Spanish side Malaga, who were eventually relegated from the top division in Spain and since his return to Watford he has impressed in pre season games. His return to fitness was praised by Watford coach  Xavi Gracia but even at that it ‎appears he is not in the manager's first team plans.
