Four Premier League clubs set their sights ion Ndidi as he becomes available on a free transfer

SUPER Eagles anchorman Wilfred Ndidi looks most likely to remain in the English Premier League next season as at least four sides have him in their sights and will be making moves to sign him during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

According to former England international Carlton Palmer, at least four Premier League clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers will intensify their efforts to sign Ndidi on a free transfer next month. He added that Ndidi is on the radar of Spanish giants Barcelona but the English sides will be hoping to keep him in the Premier League.

Mr Palmer said: “Wilfred Ndidi, he is attracting a lot of interest, a lot of attention, from Premier League clubs.  Spurs, Aston Villa, Newcastle, Wolves to name four. Wilfred Ndidi is out of contract in the summer.”

He pointed out that Ndidi’s huge wages of around £75,000 weekly could force Leicester to offload him in the summer. Mr Palmer  added that there is reported interest in Ndidi  from abroad too.

Ndidi is currently playing tor Leicester City, who got relegated but are poised for a swift return to the English Premier League next season. As Ndidi's contract is up, he will be available to leave on a free transfer.
