Ndidi launches his personal NGO the Own Foundation as rival clubs look to sign him

SUPER Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has launched a non-governmental organisation (NGO) known as the Own Foundation dedicated to empowering communities and spreading humanity through compassion and action.

Ndidi, 27, is one of the highest earning Nigerian footballers worldwide, so has launched the charity to help give back to the society that produced him.  Apparently, Ndidi's foundation is committed to providing free meals for homes across Nigeria and ensuring people have what they need to thrive.

At the launch of the NGO, the foundation hit the ground running by generously donating bags of rice to 250 families across Nigeria. Ndidi joins the likes of William Troost Ekong and Odion Ighalo who are committed to using their resources and influence to help the masses and make impact in the lives of people in whatever way they can.

Meanwhile, Ndidi's  time at King Power Stadium is nearing its end, as his contract with Leicester City will expire this summer. Several football clubs, including Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, are reportedly interested in signing the Super Eagles midfielder.
