Like many Nigerians I am eagerly awaiting an Easter address from President Tinubu that will offer hope and provide some light at the end of this dark tunnel

Ayo Akinfe

I am awaiting policy pronouncements that sound something like this:

[1] Between now and the end of the year, the government will be beefing up security big time

[2] We will ban the export of primary commodities that have no value added to them

[3] This government will reach an agreement among the numerous ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria to to ensure peace

[4] As from October 1 this year, we will be abrogating the federal allocation formula

[5] Our National Orientation Agency will be launching a nationwide campaign against our me, me, me culture

[6] Also, our National Orientation Agency will launch a war against vanity. Nothing breeds corruption as much as it

[7] This government will seek to reduce the influence of religion in the daily life of the average Nigerian. Faith must always be subordinate to reason

[8] We will be launching an aggressive “If we can’t produce it, we don’t need it” campaign. Nigerians need to get in the habit of producing what they consume

[9] This government will immediately get every local government area to open at least one technical vocation college

[10] We will get every state to spend at least 30% of its budget on education. Our goal will be a 95% literacy rate and a 50% graduate rate
