New survey shows that black women who dye their hair run a 45% higher risk of getting breast cancer

BLACK women who use permanent hair dye face an increased risk of getting breast cancer by as much as 45% according to the findings of a study recently published in the International Journal of Cancer.

(1) We have a 60% literacy rate today. At independence, I doubt if up to 5% of the population was literate. I am sure that for many middle aged Nigerians today, their parents were the first people to get an education in their families

(2) Nigeria currently has 150 universities. At independence we only had one because the British had no intention of elevating our living standards. They came in search of raw materials to furnish their industries

My vision 2050 dream is anchored on the creation of the superpower to be known as the People’s Republic of Songhai

(1) I dream that by 2050 we will have created superpower called the People’s Republic of Songhai made up of the current nations of Nigeria, Cameroon, Benin Republic and Niger Republic. With Nigeria set to become the world’s third most populous nation by 2050, we do not really have many other options

(2) Populated by 1bn people, Songhai will have a gross domestic product (GDP) of $70trn and an annual budget of $10trn
