Middle Belt Forum disassociates itself from Fulani threat to mount economic blockade

NIGERIA'S Middle Belt Forum (MBF) has dissociated itself from the recent attempt by the Amalgamated Union of Foodstuff and Cattle Dealers Association (AUFCDA) to block the movements of food items from northern Nigeria to the south of the country.

Governor Matawalle says no ransom fee was paid for the release of the Jangebe school girls

GOVERNOR Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State has received the 279 pupils from Government Girls’ Secondary School (GGSS) Jangebe at the Government House in Gusau this morning after they were released by their captives who kidnapped them last week.

Over the next few weeks I expect President Buhari to visit the WTO headquarters with proposals for an ambitious global cattle production trading plan with Nigeria at its heart. His document should look something like this
