NANTES central defender Chidozie Awaziem has been declared fit for the Super Eagles two friendly games in March after a month-long injury lay off and is expected to be ready to face Serbia when Nigeria the team on march 27 in London.

Awaziem, 21, has been a revelation in the French league this season, cementing his place as an ever-present in Nantes starting line-up. He has also become a growing influence for the Super Eagles, having put in a sterling performance when the team beat Argentina in a friendly in November last year.

Over the last month, however, Awaziem has been out of action with an injury but he is now fully fit and took part in full time training with the rest of his teammates ahead of their weekend Ligue One clash against Nice tomorrow.
