Nigeria is the sixth largest country on the planet so must be home to at least one of the wonders of the world. As a people, do we have the pride that comes with being a large nation

[1] When I look at how there are about 100 bridges across Germany’s River Rhine, about 200 spanning the River Thames and 137 bridges straddling the River Danube, it is easy to see where our problems lie as a people. Why can’t the South East Governors Forum construct the world’s first ever mile-long underwater hotel and restaurant stretching from Asaba to Onitsha

[2] Why has the Kogi State government not built the world’s largest hydro-electric power plant at Lokoja capable of generating 30,000MW of electricity

[3] Why has the federal government not built the world’s longest wind farm stretching from Badagry to Calabar. It would be 850km of continuous wind mills

[4] Our North East Governors Forum should construct the world’s largest solar farm spanning Borno and Yobo states

[5] Then the Northern States Governors Forum should build the world’s six largest cattle ranches in Niger, Borno, Taraba, Bauchi, Kaduna and Yobe states

[6] Then, the Lagos State government should start reaching for the 22nd century by constructing the world’s tallest and first eight-star hotel in Lagos

[7] When I look at South Africa’s Kruge National Park, I ask why the world’s largest wildlife sanctuary does not exist in Taraba State

[8] Were I the Ondo State governor, I would build the world’s biggest Ferris wheel and theme park at Ore, which serves as the gateway between the east and west along the Sagamu-Benin Expressway. It would turn Ore into the Cape Town of Nigeria, halving the trip between Onitsha and Lagos

[9] A nation our size needs one global tourist attraction of the calibre of the Taj Mahal, Pyramid of Giza, Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Brazil’s Christ the Redeemer Statue, the Sydney Opera House, the Kremlin, the Brandenburg Gate, etc that can attract 5m tourists a day

[10] I would also like to see the Taraba State government build the world’s largest coffee plantation on the Mambilla Plateau. They should also construct a whole processing industry around it
