[1] As from October 1 2022, no building in Nigeria will be granted a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) unless it has solar panels installed on its roof
[2] As from 2025, all buildings in Nigeria must have solar panels installed on their roofs. Not having one will attract prosecution with the risk of the property being forfeited to the federal government
[3] By the end of 2022, all public buildings in Nigeria must be fitted with solar panels

ZAMBIAN doctor Dr Joseph Kabungo who served as the Fifa doctor at the recent Nigeria vs Ghana World Cup play-off in Abuja has been confirmed dead after he collapsed at the end of the game and gave up the ghost.
Dr Kabungo, who was employed as a doping officer for the tie at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja, passed away in unconfirmed circumstances. News of his death was announced by his home association, the Zambian FA, this morning.

[1] There shall be no such thing as The Office of The First Lady or Office of The First Gentleman in the presidency or in any of our 36 states. Our constitution does not make any provision for such a position so use of the office is illegal
[2] Governors’ wives/husbands shall not be addressed as Her Excellency
[3] No state funds shall be used to finance charities and non-governmental organisations run by governors’ wives/husbands

[1] We have a 60% literacy rate today. At independence, I doubt if up to 5% of the population was literate. I am sure that for many middle aged Nigerians today, their parents were the first people to get an education in their families
[2] Nigeria currently has 150 universities. At independence we only had one because the British had no intention of elevating our living standards. They came in search of raw materials to furnish their industries
