[1] Modern day Enugu State is what I would call a pioneering part of the country as back during the colonial era, it was one of the first provinces to industrialise. Thanks to its coal deposits, Enugu was soon home to Nigeria’s largest mine, attracting workers from all over Africa. This spurred the growth of the city of Enugu, allowing it to become the spiritual home of Ndigbo. This status needs to be cashed in on big time

[1] Ogun is the one state in Nigeria that is cashing in on its location big time. As we speak, about 90% of the foreign direct investment that goes into Nigeria goes to Lagos State and Ogun is benefiting from the spillover of this. Moving forward, Ogun needs to cash in on this a lot more, kind of similar to the way Mexico has benefitted from the expansion of the US automobile industry

[1] Yobe State is arguably the most arid state in Nigeria as its northern tip is in the sahel savannah, which as we all know borders the Sahara Desert. Those who nicknamed Yobe State the Pride of the Sahel, probably had in mind a scenario whereby its economy would be dominated by its climate and environment but alas, this is simply not happening as Yobe State does not have a booming Sahelian economy. If we can get peace to return to Yobe State, the sky is the limit
