Man United fans want Solskjær to augment the signing of Varane by purchasing Ndidi from Leicester

MANCHESTER United fans have begun mounting pressure on the club's management to sign Super Eagles anchorman Wilfred Ndidi as a follow-on from the signing of centreback Raphaël Varane from Real Madrid.

Earlier this week, Manchester United announced the signing of French defender Varane from the Bernabeu for £42.7m. His signing is seen as part of an ambitious plan to enable the Red devils compete for the Premier League title over the coming season but the fans believe Ndidi will be the last missing piece of the jigsaw puzzle.

Ole Gunnar Solskjær, the Manchester United manager has managed to get the club to agree personal terms with Varane and the club is set to pay Madrid his transfer fee next. Varane is then scheduled to have his medical next week ahead of the official announcement.

However, while the Manchester United fans are excited over the potential arrival of the French star, they have urged the club to also go for Ndidi. Since arriving in England in January 2017, Ndidi has been one of the best in his positions, not just in the Premier League but in the world.

No player has made more tackles in Europe’s top five leagues since August 2019 than the Super Eagles midfielder. With Manchester United lacking a quality defensive midfielder, the fans want the club to go all out for Leicester City midfielder before the end of the transfer window.
