Daddy Freeze disagrees with Oyedepo saying Jesus Christ never saw another human being as unfruitful

CONTROVERSIAL disc jockey and leader of the Sheeple Movement Ifedayo Olarinde popularly known as Daddy Freeze has waded into the recent sacking of 40 clergymen by Winners Chapel saying that it is not a biblical or Christian act.

Living Faith Church popularly known as Winners Chapel, recently sacked about 40 of its regional pastors for not generating enough income from their parishes after a recent performance review found them wanting. Founded by Bishop David Oyedepo, Nigeria's wealthiest evangelical clergyman, Winners Chapel asked the dismissed clergymen to even move out of the church accommodation in which they were residing.

Bishop Oyedepo, 66, is estimated by Forbes to have a net worth of $150m. Defending the decision, however, Bishop Oyedepo said the only criteria for the sacking was how many souls the pastors won in the church, maintaining that the pastors were sacked because they were unfruitful.

However, Daddy Freeze dismissed this excuse as lacking any biblical standing, pointing out that the only thing Jesus Christ ever categorised as being unfruitful was a tree. Writing on Instagram, Daddy Freeze quoted Matthew Chapter 21, verse 19, to back up his argument.

Daddy Freeze said: “Seeing a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then he said to it, may you never bear fruit again and immediately the tree withered.”
