OMEGA Fire Ministries International general overseer Apostle Johnson Suleman has revealed that he recently bought his third private jet during the coronavirus pandemic despite the fact that many of his church members are suffering from its effects.

Controversial Apostle Suleman, 49, who is always in the news over one altercation, controversy or sexual scandal, is one of the new breed of millionaire pastorpreuners in Nigeria. This rich clergymen who own mega churches with millions of followers, mandate their members to pay 10% of their earnings as tithes, which add up to a tidy sum.

In Nigeria, faith houses are not regulated as say they are in the UK where the Charities Commission closely monitors their finances, meaning that these rich clergymen are freed to spend church funds as they please. Most of Nigeria's leading clergymen like Bishop David Oyedepo, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, Pastor Sam Adeyemi and Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor all own private jets.

Pastor Mike Davids, who has since left the church, accused Apostle Suleman of sleeping with his wife, Pastor Faith Edeko, while the two were working together on setting up a gospel television station for the church.
