I see no way out for Nigeria unless we start mass producing these products and exporting them in huge numbers. How else will we generate the required foreign exchange to run Nigeria?

We are sitting on a keg of gunpowder which will soon explode beneath us. With this pandemic, the dynamics of the global economy have changed irrevocably and it can no longer be business as usual.

When government revenue halves as a result of reduced crude oil demand and prices, it would be naive and utopian of us to think we can survive in 2021 as we did in 2019. Only this week, the All Nigerian Farmers Association said the output of its members is down due to a combination of Covid-19 and flooding.

If the rest of the world is sincere about helping Nigeria, they should hand us patents to the above listed products and let us manufacture them. If they do not and poverty and unemployment spiral out of control, then they should not complain when we become a haven for terrorist groups like Isis and Boko Haram.
