Ughelli man axes girlfriend in the head believing she is behind his shrinking manhood

 

DELTA State mother of two Augustina Jowho Broma id battling for her life at the Ughelli General Hospital after she was attacked with an axe by her boyfriend Anthony Edijala who accused her of being responsible for his shrinking manhood.

 

In a bizarre incident, Mr Edijala, 39, struck Ms Broma with an axe to the head after accusing her of being behind the constant shrinking of his manhood. He claimed that his girlfriend used mysterious powers to shrink his manhood and attacked her brutally, almost killing her but for the intervention of neighbours.

 

Mr Edijala who has since been arrested by the police, was only saved from a public lynching by the timely arrival of the officers. Felix Broma, a brother to the victim, disclosed that his sister was rushed to the General Hospital, Ughelli where she is receiving medical attention having received several surgical operations amidst fears of partial paralysis.

 

Witnesses at the scene of the incident that it took the timely intervention of some policemen to rescue the suspect from an angry mob that had beat him to a pulp. One security source said the suspect had confessed to the crime and admitted  that he and the lady in question had a disagreement after they both separated.

 

One source said: “He had accused the victim of being the brain behind the shrinking of his manhood which he claimed used to be bigger than its present size, an incident that also contributed to the crack in their relationship. On the day of the incident, he said he had gone to the shop of the victim in an attempt to see his kids when they had an argument with the suspect grabbing an axe while trying to defend herself which he grabbed and used to strike her.”
