Rohr names starting 11 for today's friendly against Czech Republic with Ndidi returning to action

SUPER Eagles head coach Gernor Rohr has revealed his starting line-up for the team's final pre-World Cup friendly game tonight against the Czech Republic that will see Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi return to action following a hamstring injury.

This afternoon at the Rudolf Tonn Stadion in Schwechat, near Vienna, the Eagles will face the Czechs in their last warm-up game before heading to Russia. Coach Rohr has made several changes from the team that lost 1-2 to England last Saturday, bring in Ndidi and starting with John Ogu who was introduced at half time at Wembley.

Barring any last minute change, goalkeeper Francis Uzoho will start in goal with a back four consisting of Shehu Abdullahi, William Ekong, Leon Balogun, and Bryan Idowu. In midfield, Joel Obi and Ogenyi Onazi have been dropped with John Ogu and the fit-again Wilfred Ndidi will start alongside captain Mikel Obi.

Upfront, the striking trio remain unchanged from the last game with Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Odion Ighalo leading the attack. Due to start at 2pm, GMT and Nigerian time, the match will give Coach Rohr the opportunity to work on tactics and cohesion as he appears to have decided on his starting 11.
