NIGERIA'S foreign ministry has told its citizens stranded in China because they have been diagnosed as being coronavirus positive that they cannot be evacuated and will as such have to remain there to receive medical treatment.

NIGERIA is contemplating suspending oil production for the foreseeable future as a result of the collapse in global petroleum prices brought about by the coronavirus pandemic which has led to crude being produced below production costs.

(1) Today’s update on Covid-19 is that 2.92m people have been affected worldwide and there have been 203,299 unfortunate deaths. Although the figures are not coming down, at least the spread rate is slowing significantly. I actually believe we are seeing a ray of light at the end of the tunnel
