Lagos State government warns monarchs who issue false state of origin documents

 

LAGOS State government has warned traditional rulers against the sale of state of origin documents to non-indigenes saying the practice is criminal and anyone caught engaging in the act will be sanctioned.

Nigerian lawyer Kaycee Madu appointed justice minister in Canada's Alberta province

 

NIGERIAN-born legal luminary Kaycee Madu has been appointed as the justice minister and solicitor general of the Canadian province of Alberta as the ongoing ethnic diversification of the government.

 

Mr Madu, 47,  was born and raised in southeast Nigeria and graduated from the University of Lagos with a law degree in 2001. He has practised law in both Nigeria and Alberta and he and his wife relocated to Canada in 2005.
