NIGERIA'S former head coach Gernot Rohr looks set to take over the job of managing the Malian Eagles following the sacking of Mohamed Magassouba after he failed to qualify the ream for the 2022 World Cup.
Mr Rohr managed Nigeria for five years from 2016 to 2021, leading the Super Eagles to the 2018 World Cup in Russia. However, the former Bayern Munich and Bordeaux defender was sacked late last year after an unsatisfactory World Cup campaign

FOUR police officer attached to the Atani Police Station that serves as the headquarters of Ogbaru Local Government Area of Anambra State have been killed after a daring attack this morning by unknown gun men.
Apparently, the heavily armed hoodlums arrived in the area at about 1.30am and immediately launched an attack on the police facility. As a result of the vicious attack, four policemen, including a female police operative, lost their lives.
