FORMER Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) managing director Andrew Yakubu has been acquitted by an Abuja high court of a $9.8m corruption charge brought against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

[1] As from October 1 2022, no building in Nigeria will be granted a Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) unless it has solar panels installed on its roof

[2] As from 2025, all buildings in Nigeria must have solar panels installed on their roofs. Not having one will attract prosecution with the risk of the property being forfeited to the federal government

[3] By the end of 2022, all public buildings in Nigeria must be fitted with solar panels

Zambian doctor in Fifa doping duty during Nigeria/Ghana match collapses and dies

ZAMBIAN doctor Dr Joseph Kabungo who served as the Fifa doctor at the recent Nigeria vs Ghana World Cup play-off in Abuja has been confirmed dead after he collapsed at the end of the game and gave up the ghost.

 

Dr Kabungo, who was employed as a doping officer for the tie at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja, passed away in unconfirmed circumstances. News of his death was announced by his home association, the Zambian FA, this morning.

Abuja high court dismisses charges against former minister of special duties and inter-governmental affairs

FORMER minister of special duties and inter-governmental affairs Alhaji Kabiru Turaki has been discharged by an Abuja federal high court and acquitted of money laundering after the judge ruled that the prosecution could not establish a prima facie case against him.
