On this day in 1998, the UK published the Good Friday Agreement that ended the troubles in Northern Ireland. Would you not just love it if President Tinubu followed suit with a similar initiative today

Ayo Akinfe

[1] Unfortunately, the Buhari years were the most divisive in our history. When you look at the lingering effects of the Fulani herdsmen crisis, it is clear that we are now a highly traumatised nation in desperate need of healing

President Tinubu has just announced the members of his Presidential Economic Coordination Council. I hope it has a blueprint that looks something like this

Ayo Akinfe

[1] Like the rest of you, I have seen the list of experts put together to form his new economic management team. On paper, the list looks very impressive but whether they will deliver is the litmus test. If they are only there for show, it is just a waste of talent

Like many Nigerians I am eagerly awaiting an Easter address from President Tinubu that will offer hope and provide some light at the end of this dark tunnel

Ayo Akinfe

[3] This government will reach an agreement among the numerous ethnic nationalities that make up Nigeria to to ensure peace
